My Starting Event in Private Company / Sector

I was wondering to be something in the future but what’ve we planned probably not going to happen. I was working in private sector several months ago, in February 2017. They called themselves as the start-up company. The company that just growing up. Firstly I thought they’re ready to build their company and preparing their stuff. In facts, a week before my first-time work, I contemplate and my imaginary wondering what will I do tomorrow. I am literally so excited about it, even when my brother gives some advice I refuse him.

I was a stubborn guy back then, won’t learn from someone or for something. Consider what’ve happened, I just felt so sorry. The company that accepted my application, when my first day I saw they’re completely not ready yet to build a company. Why am I judge them like that, cause I think it’s my right as an employee. All we need just prepared a day before we started working in the next day. Worst things are the contract letter isn’t made by a legal person, it means tho who had a speciality in law or at least bachelor of law, then the Human Resource Development (HRD) isn’t from psychological education.

The points are in the private sector they have priority to earns money for their business, so the term “time is money” as their lead, they have tight rules to do, and tight time schedule. But in the company that I’ve working before has the opposite. So after realizing their policy isn’t complete yet or not fully ready refer to human resources aspect. I decided to resign, somehow I am not completely being an employee. Only one week or exactly 4 days for my adaptation.

Governmental Environment Part – Municipal Mayor Office

            I was graduated at the age of 21 on November 2016. At the time I was worried about what will I am going to do next. I am not sure with my skills as Bachelor of Communication Science by majoring Journalism. After six months unemployed, my parents told me that there’s job offer from Municipal Mayor Office of Jayapura City Government, so excited I am.

            After receiving that “Good News”, I am going home (when I stayed in Yogyakarta) in Sleman District, Special Region of Yogyakarta. I considered myself as integrated man, discipline, had an integrity, scheduled person, and had responsibility. I’ve prepared my best before step again in one of my beloved city, it’s Jayapura.

            After arrived in Jayapura, I personally meet Sir. Muhaidin who offer me this job. He asked me about myself and my background. He took my documents and heading to the Regional Secretary, R. D. Siahaya to approve my application. He, Sir. Muhaidin said that you’re hired caused Mr. Regional Secretary liked your profile.

I had a dream to build up Papua. When got placed as Public Relations Staff, I expected something challenging, and I got it. For now on I needed to adjust myself in this atmosphere of works. They’ve tight schedule as I thought. Build Papua in my paradigm as Public Relations become eyes and ears for Mr. Mayor and mouth for the public. Join relations with the public to publish or perhaps shout out what City Government does. Who knows what happen next, I am just waiting and keep my head up to face what’ll come after me.
